Tyler the Creator – Yonkers (Lil Silva Remix) [Free Download]

16 04 2011

We haven’t really done much of the OFWGKTA hype on here, we’ve left it to all the other blogs who are busy getting excited over the (admitedly, very exciting) hip-hop coming out of the 11-piece collective from LA. OFWGKTA’s front-man Tyler the Creator is coming with Goblin, his second album, due next month and the lead tune off it Yonkers has been doing the rounds for the last few months. The demonically dark tune (with an equally haunting video) has been given the remix treatment by UK producer Lil Silva. He’s expertly brought in elements of grime and UK funky to the remix and turned the lead synth of the original into an upbeat party starter all while keeping that trademark Lil Silva sound.
